Meet Shiloh, Katy & Sawyer

????????????????????????????????????

“A mother’s love for her child is like no other love. To be able to put that feeling aside because you want the best for your child is the most unselfish thing I know” is what adoption means to us.  Camping, snowboarding, horseback riding, spending time with family and friends are some of things we love to do.  Florida, Tennessee, Texas and New England are some of the places we have been.  Fun loving, outgoing, adventurous, caring and genuine is what kind of family we are.  Faith, family and friends are the things we cherish most.  Hello we are Shiloh, Katy & Sawyer thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little.

We have been married 9yrs and knew from the beginning that having a family naturally was not an option for us.  We always knew adoption was how we were going to build our family.   In Aug 2014 we decided it was time to start our family and we began the adoption process.  Eleven months later we welcomed our son into our family.  It has been such an honor to watch this amazing little boy grow up before our eyes.   He has added so much joy to our lives and we are so grateful for the gift of being his parents.  We feel like it is a good time and that he is at a great age to grow our family.

Shiloh is 36yrs old and has worked with the same construction company 13yrs. Katy is 33yrs old.  She has had her own business as a hairdresser as well as been in banking, but has her dream job of being a stay at home mom, wife and homemaker. Staying at home has allowed Katy to do things like mommy and me swimming lessons and teach Sawyer sign language as an infant to encourage his communication development which has surely contributed to the talkative 3yr old he is today. Sawyer is an energetic, loving, smart little boy.  His outgoing personality brings a smile to everyone’s face.  He knows how to count to 15, several shapes, colors, how to spell his name as well as his ABC’s.  He loves animals, puzzles, playing outside, riding bike and playing with cousins/friends.  Along with the three of us we have three dogs a Chihuahua named Rascal, a schnoodle named Lulu and a yellow lab named Dixie.

We own our home which is in a quiet, clean safe neighborhood with lots of young families with kids and is great place to raise a family.  Our home is in the same community we spent our childhood.  All of our immediate family lives within 15 min drive from each other and we see them on a regular basis.  In our family there are a total of 5 siblings and 13 nieces and nephews.  We feel fortunate to have the support system we do and are so grateful to give our children the same kind of loving foundation.

We admire your courage and love for this baby in considering an adoption plan.  We can’t imagine how difficult this decision is and our hearts go out to you during this time. We will do whatever we can to help make this process easier for you.   Know that we wish you the best and are praying for you during this journey.  Thank you for getting to know our family a little and for considering being a part of our story and family. God Bless.
